Butter yellow and white over a lot of green, built into a raw terracotta bowl. The green here is not filler — lime chrysanthemums and green buds carry as much of the piece as the flowers do, which keeps it fresh rather than sweet.
Roughly 50 cm across and 35 cm high, in a terracotta bowl about 25 cm wide. Wide and rounded rather than tall, so it works on a coffee table, a sideboard or a wide windowsill. On a dinner table it sits just at eye level — fine for a long table, a little tall for a small one.
The bowl is unglazed clay and stays with you. It takes a plant afterwards.
Scent: light, and lighter than most of our arrangements — there is no eucalyptus in this one. A little from the roses, nothing sweet or heavy.
Pets: not pet-safe as photographed. The ASPCA lists hydrangea and chrysanthemum as toxic to cats and dogs. Tell us there is an animal in the house and we will rebuild the same yellow-and-green look from safe flowers, at no extra charge.
Arrives finished in the bowl and needs no vase. Made to order from the flowers that came in fresh that morning, so the exact mix shifts a little.
Dressing a whole room? We can build smaller arrangements, a matching bouquet and single stems in the same yellow, white and green, so a table, a reception desk or an event reads as one set. Write to us and tell us about the space.
