Peach & Cream Arrangement

Soft apricot roses and a peach gerbera against white — a quiet, warm palette with no strong colour in it at all. A white amaranthus tassel spills over the front of the vase and a tall bud rises out of the top, so the shape is upright and a little asymmetric rather than a rounded dome.

Roughly 35 cm across and 55 cm tall, in a fluted white ceramic vase. The height comes from a few tall stems rather than mass, so it holds a corner without filling it. Good on a console, a shelf, a desk or a counter; on a dinner table it stands above eye level.

The vase is glazed ceramic and stays with you.

Scent: light while the bud is closed. If the lily opens it becomes properly fragrant — sweet and quite strong in a small room. Tell us if you would rather it stayed quiet and we will leave the lily out.

Pets — read this one if you have a cat. As photographed this includes a lily. The ASPCA is unambiguous: lilies are toxic to cats, with "vomiting, inappetence, lethargy, kidney failure, and death is possible", and cats are the only species affected. Pollen and even the vase water are enough. It also contains anthurium, which the ASPCA lists as toxic to cats and dogs. If there is a cat in the house, tell us — we will build the same peach-and-cream look without the lily, at no extra charge. We would rather you asked.

Arrives finished in its vase and needs no vase of your own. Made to order from the flowers that came in fresh that morning, so the exact mix shifts a little.
